    Why parents choose this guide

    No cry-it-out, gentle sleep guidance

You'll learn what biologically drives newborn sleep, so you can support and shape great sleep in a way that feels calm, connected, and right from the very beginning.

A complete step-by-step plan, not fluffy advice that leaves you lost

Most sleep resources give you loose foundations and leave you to figure out the rest yourself. You're left reading between the lines, second-guessing every decision, and somehow feeling like you should already know what to do.

Online searches and AI tools make this worse. They rely on you already knowing the right questions to ask, pull from inaccurate or unqualified sources, and give you different answers depending on the day. They tell you what you want to hear, which can lead you down a path that makes sleep even worse.

This guide is different. It's a clear, step-by-step plan that shows you exactly what matters for newborn sleep and how to apply it with confidence. And when things don't go to plan, a comprehensive troubleshooting section covers the most common newborn sleep challenges in detail, so you always have somewhere to turn.

Start from birth or any point in the first 3 months

The guide is designed to support you from birth, helping you feel confident about sleep right from the start. It can be introduced at any point during the first three months.

If your baby is already close to 3 months old, our our Complete Guides Bundle is the best value option.

Routines are introduced from around 3-6 weeks, with clear guidance on wake windows and nap timing that grows with your baby.

    Breastfeeding & bottle-feeding friendly

This guide works whether you're breastfeeding, bottle-feeding or doing a mix of both. Many of our amazing reviews are from exclusively breastfeeding mothers.

Our routines help you balance feeds throughout the day to better shape sleep, while always encouraging you to respond to your baby's hunger cues. You'll never be asked to stretch feeds to long intervals unlike some other approaches you may have come across.

    Nap & feeding routine guidance

The routines take the guesswork out of your day, helping you balance feeds and naps in a way that naturally supports longer nights, with clear guidance on wake windows and nap timing as your baby grows.

You'll find flexible options if you prefer to go with the flow, and more detailed timing guidance for parents who like to know exactly what to aim for.

    Suitable for babies with reflux

Strong sleep foundations, routines, and settling strategies can be a powerful support alongside the medical care you're already following. Better sleep has been shown to help ease reflux symptoms over time, and many families notice a real difference once good foundations are in place.

Please note this guide does not contain medical advice. We always recommend working with your medical team for treatment specific to your baby's needs.

Qualified, certified guidance backed by real family outcomes

The Newborn Sleep Guide uses an evidence-based approach developed by a certified infant and toddler sleep consultant, refined over years through thousands of real family experiences and outcomes. Every recommendation is grounded in current sleep science and shaped by what actually works in real life, not just in theory.

Melissa holds certification through the internationally recognised Baby Sleep Consultant Training Program, with further study in Sleep Medicine Fundamentals through the University of Sydney, and has helped more than 20,000 families achieve better sleep through Baby Sleep Code. All safe sleep guidance reflects the latest SIDS research and current safe sleep recommendations, updated as new evidence emerges.

    Great start for new patents!

"We are new parents and were searching for a guide to gently start sleeptraining for our little guy. The information on baby sleep is very clear and helpful. Our baby is now almost 7 weeks old and has colic and reflux. Therefore, following the schedules was a not doable most of the time due to cramps in the evening and nights. The guide did however give us confidence that we have a great way to start sleep training as soon as we can! We are now going to implement the advised rituals and will slowly pick up the sleep training from there. Looking forward to starting the routines!"

Amazing for our transition from Maternity to Paternity Leave!

"Our baby was 8 weeks old when we got this guide. We got this as we transitioned from maternity to paternity leave. Our son sleeps so well, and the alternatives and secondary options for when plans don’t go as expected has been wonderful for our hectic life."

    Haven’t looked back

"I started the Newborn Sleep Guide when my daughter was 5 weeks old and haven’t looked back since. The guide gives you the confidence to navigate baby sleep, removes all guess work and my now 5 month old daughter can put herself to sleep, sleeps in her cot for every nap and sleeps for 12 hours overnight. I couldn’t recommend this guide enough and will definitely be using it again for baby number 2!"

    Recommended

"I found the guide very helpful to understand many aspects about my newborn's sleep. At first it seemed like a lot of information, which is the case, but I was able to remember the important things after reading it twice. Overall, very helpful, I would recommend it !"

    Highly recommend!

"My 12 week old is already sleeping so well! Doing stretches of up to 10 hours and we’ve even had a few nights where she’s slept all the way through from 7pm-7am! Highly recommend for any parent looking for practical, gentle guidance with sleep. I followed the routines with my first who’s now 2. 5, and having the guidance from the beginning this time made the newborn trenches so much more bearable and helped me feel far less anxious about the dreaded sleep scaries! It’s been such a relief to feel more prepared and supported from the start."

    So far so good!

"This guide has given me much needed structure for my 8 week old as a FTM, it’s so helpful to have this reference!"

    Lucy G. (5/5)

    Bedtimes are no longer messy

"My baby was 5 weeks when we started the guided and is now 8 weeks, and I am so glad we purchased the Newborn Sleep Gudie! The guide is educational, flexible and gentle. We immediately saw a significant improvement at bedtime and the guide gave us the confidence in both understanding sleep and various settling techniques to set up great sleep hygiene early on. We also have seen stretches of overnight sleep increase from 4 hours to 7 hours!"

    Simple and working great

"Has been easy to follow and working great for us so far"

    Joelle Y. (5/5)

    Tummy Cramps

"I downloaded this guide having seen the Instagram posts and hoping to develop a better routine for my 8 week old baby. Unfortunately my baby suffers from colic symptoms and, although he is now 11 weeks old, establishing a routine with a baby who is not able to self regulate is not possible. I've just found that I have to deal with the abdominal pains as they arise and try my best to get him to follow a basic and poose"

    Samantha L. (3/5)

    Transformed by baby's sleep

"I found the sleep guide so useful. I started using it when my baby was 7 weeks old and by 9 weeks he was sleeping through the night. Its very practical and easy to use without leaving my baby to cry at all."
