From waking every 1-2 hours, to sleeping 12 hours straight!

4-month-old Brooklyn had been through the 4-month sleep regression and had started to wake every 1-2 hours during the night.

His parents had tried everything and were up all hours trying to settle him back to sleep by rocking, bouncing, putting the dummy back in, feeding around the clock and co-sleeping.

Mum Emily decided it was time to get help, and they started implementing the steps in our Baby Program

After following the Baby Program, Brooklyn's sleep completely transformed and he started sleeping through the night (12 hours). Sleep times no longer feel like a battle, and he goes into his cot smiling and giggling, settling himself to sleep independently. In the morning, he wakes up happy, chatting, blowing bubbles, and playing until calling out to Mum to start the day.

Emily still feeds Brooklyn for comfort or when he’s cranky, but found that focusing on full complete feeds and top-ups before naps has kept him feeling fuller for longer and supported consolidated sleep.

Brooklyn loved his dummy during the newborn stage, but as he got older he would wake up if it fell out. Emily used our guidance to successfully wean the dummy. She also found it challenging when it came time to transition from the swaddle to arms free in a sleeping bag, and found our advice helpful for this too.

Emily shared, “I never thought I’d be a routine Mumma, but I’m so glad we started using the Baby Sleep Code routines. The example schedules have actually given us so much more freedom and flexibility in our day. By knowing rough nap times we can plan around them (I had no idea about babies let alone sleep before having Brooklyn so it’s been a lifesaver). I still check the monitor a million times a night in shock he’s actually still asleep! (I’m working on my own insomnia now, haha).”
